What an absolute nightmare. I bought an item 2 weeks ago. According to the tracking information it has been delivered. It even states it was put through my letterbox a week ago. All well and good so far ,,,,

Except it wasn't delivered. Its a golf club. There's no possible way it could have fit through my letterbox.

The seller clearly thinks we are lying as he has the tracking information telling him it has been delivered,so obviously he is refusing to refund.

Arrrrrgggggh! I've lost the money haven't I and the club isn't going to be delivered is it.

Is there anything I can do?

contact Hermes yourself and ask them where it is.

they will prob speak to the driver and find out where it is, ask them for signature too. You won't win a case with tracking though. It def is tracking to your address - seller hasn't given bogus tracking info for a different item?

Hi OP, not quite the same as you but, I bought 2 crosshatch hoodies from kandco, were due for delivery 3rd October, on the 2nd I had a look at the tracking and it stated delivered and signed for. I rang kandco as it hadn't been delivered to me or my neighbours. They ordered an investigation with myhermes and brought the driver in for interview, and surprise surprise he managed to recover the parcel from an address he'd delivered to!
My advice would be to contact the seller and explain and politely ask them to call myhermes and get them to escalate the case as they haven't delivered it to you.

I have emailed hermes but still waiting for a reply. The tracking shows it was posted through the letterbox -that would make it the skinniest golf club in the world!

Not sure how to check the address, but I think the seller is genuine enough, well he's certainly grumpy enough about it.

I have asked the seller to start a claim but he sounds unwilling. Basically he just doesn't believe me.

How crazy. If I had wanted to steal something I would have chosen something more expensive or even something with a resale value!

MyHermes are dishonest and seem to employ thieving scumbags in my opinion, waited two weeks for delivery, no notification of no delivery but on chasing was informed the parcel had been logged as 'stolen'.

No compensation offered.

I spend hundreds of pounds a month on couriers, a lot of this previously with MyHermes but am now tired of items going missing and their lack of communication. AVOID, for the sake of some pennies savings I suggest you stick with RM.

Jnstubbs when a parcel is lost by myhermes then you need to fill out a form to claim your compensation, did you do that?
