Is this something to be suspicous about?

Sold my pushchair, buyer messaged me saying 'Hi can u send me your PayPal email address please as I've tried to pay now on eBay saying I still have negative balance paypal what's been paid as I had to re confirm my bank details I'm going to try straight payment from PayPal'

So money has gone through into my paypal, but obviously ebay it still says NOT PAID. So i've wrapped it and ready to send tomorrow as I have the money in my Paypal account. But just had a quick thought- what if it is some sort of scam?! So thought to ask on here!

don't think so - send it with a signature and add that tracking info to the paypal transaction when it has been sent.

Thanks, my instincts are saying its all fine.. I have the money, seems genuine. Just had that moment of panic where I thought it might be something dodgy!

Does the payment include a reference of the eBay item number and is the Paypal delivery address the same as the eBay one ?

if it was a direct paypal payment make sure you send to paypal address and add tracking info on paypal

Hasn't got the ebay ref number but she has written what it is for and the delivery address is the same, so seems to all be ok. I have just added the tracking reference number to the paypal payment. Thanks for the advice.
