Does an influx of items on free listing weekends mean lower selling prices?

I don't think so, except for things that are already flooding Ebay and only get relatively low prices ever.

I am thinking medium quality women's clothes (+shoes) and baby clothes especially. These sell at very low rates anyway.

yes and of course there are the people who relist the same overpriced tat every fortnight, it means that there will be a huge number of things finishing next sunday night, if the item is unusual or rare it does not matter but if there are several no ebay already yes yo will generally get lower price
