Hall of shame taken off. Yes so many eBay buyers taking the pee. The suggestion for eBay to me was to go to police but they could cooperate but not interfere with dealings between you and said buyer.

It is stealing if people claim to have not received something when they have!!!!!! But police will only investigate if cost of item v police time is worth it!!! So in v limited cases.

Maybe we should use gumtree or a n other!!!!!

This is why I always send items recorded delivery then even if the buyer planned to pull that kind of a scam they cant because I have proof and PP will side with me (buyers have still tried the scam even with my proof of postage/delivery and paypal have always found in my favour)

Ha! found it. My situation is slightly different. A man in a South American country claimed his stuff didn't arrive. We resent it and he said the same thing had happened.
We live in Malaysia and I can't get proof of sending from the post office.
Lying scoundrel.
