eBay

Hey you ebay/selling experts, who would you use to courier a large item?

It is a wooden playpen so much like a cot I suppose in dimensions. Who is good/cheap to use? How do you package it or are there companies that do that? I've got it listed on gumtree and a local group but the only bite I have at the moment is dithering because they are quite far away, I'm selling at £100 less than it would cost new so I'm hoping I can convince them to buy with a courier!

you need to dismantle as much as possible then open out 2-3 large cardboard boxes to wrap it as I imagine it will be large rectangle but not that high, weigh on bathroom scales best to weigh yourself then weigh again holding it for weight in Kg

you should get a courier for about £10, i would type weight and dimensions into parcel2go to get quote, items with courier or postage get more and higher bids

the only limit is 32kg which is max one person legally can lift if heavier need a pallet but no playpen weighs that much

Hmmm I have some packaging from some shelves I could probably manage to do something with. If I can get it elvered for £10 ish then hopefully I can shift the bloody thing! I need the cash but my primary objective is to get it out of my house!
