eBay

Why can't buyers read the sodding listing properly?

Buyers are doing my head in right now. Most recently someone asked if I shipped to Australia, I said no as had lots of bits go missing when sent abroad, and most buyers don't want to pay tracked prices. So buyer bids anyway and wins, item gets sent to Oz. Ok not a major problem, but just frustrating they ignored what I said.

Then someone wins a pair of boots I'm selling. Get a message telling me she's new to eBay, so no paypal. Would she be able to send a cheque or pick up (again she didn't read the listing as I'm nowhere near where she thinks I am)? I want the money in my paypal account asap, not wait for a sodding cheque. I'm going to have to be nice and accept the cheque aren't I?

Am a right menstrual cow bag right now. Sorry, moan over!

Realise these aren't major eBay problems, just bloody annoying!

They are annoying though! I've only sold a couple of things before this month but am having a clear out. Lots of little things from buyers is annoying!! I feel your pain! Grin

you will have to stop bidders from abroad - you can change this in your account. If a bidder is able to bid they probably will

You don't have to accept a cheque, but apart from waiting for it to clear first it is free as a seller plus no risk of a chargeback so better than Paypal in some ways.

Thanks for the info fergoose. I had selected the no international postage on the listing, but obviously didn't work. I shall investigate further!
