AIBU to ask for a refund?

hi everyone. ive just bought a pair of ugg kensington boots on ebay for £120. the seller described these boots as in 'mint condition' and 'worn a handfull of times'.
when i recieved them i noticed that the heel on one of them was worn down quite a lot, then i messaged her saying i had recieved them and thank you. i mentioned that the ankle on them was tight but i was sure they would stretch. she replied that it had 'taken her ages to stretch them after she had got them'!
when i messaged her offering her £120 for them i said i was only willing to pay that if they were genuinly in near perfect condition. i feel like she has misled me and i have paid way over the odds for a pair of worn boots. i really don't want to be one of those nightmare buyers who demands a refund for no real reason.
AIBU to ask for a refund? thanks!!

Yanbu. I wouldn't even pay 120 for well worn boots!

Hope it gets resolved quickly! Xx

I think you should definitely ask for a refund - this wasn't an off eBay sale was it? What is the rest of her feedback like?

THANKS FOR REPLIES. she had it listed them as an auction and i offered her £120 so she relisted them as a BIN. and i payed through paypal. and all her feedback is good including seller feedback.
i just feel a bit bad, i mean the boots aren't in bad condition or anything they are just worn more than she has portrayed. these are a very well made sturdy pair of boots so to be showing signs of wear they would have to have been worn for a while.

I lived in my Kensingtons last winter, in mud, snow etc. The soles look brand new as they are so heavy duty so for them to look partly worn they must have been worn a lot of the seller has a strange gait perhaps?

thats my point really, they are so sturdy for the heel to be worn down they must have been worn for a few months.
how do i go about asking for a refund?

Email her as first resort saying explaining why you are dissatisfied. She will be very accommodating if she wants to protect her feedback. Would you consider keeping them if she refunded you part of the purchase price? How much?

Else you'll have to return them (tracked & insured delivery), and one of you move to cancel the transaction. Google Ebay Dispute Resolution Centre, read up on what that website says.

Ah nuts, feel like I brought something on, just had a dis-satisfied buyer demanding refund. I instantly refunded because I couldn't deal with the stress of worrying about small amounts. £120 is a lot, though.
