Alternative to eBay for selling as eBay is so quiet?

I use eBay a fair bit and have noticed it is so quiet lately. I'm trying to clear clothes my baby DD has outgrown, nice bits from Next, Gap, Monsoon etc. All but 2 auctions ended with no bids and some items didn't have any watchers! So I'm wondering what's the alternative as I could do with the cash and there's nothing wrong with the clothes, just they've been outgrown! Any suggestions?

Apart from car boot sales, I would wait until September. Many on holiday at the moment so ebay is always quiet in August.
