Postage to Ireland?

Need to post a 1kg parcel to (republic of) Ireland.

Is Royal mail going to be the best to use? Any ideas how much it's going to cost?

Tired doing it on price finder on royal mail website but they don't have Eire of Republic of Ireland on the list ?

just use France as an example and it should be the same.

It always amazes me when people question postage to Ireland. It is just like any other European country, if you go to the Roal mail website price finder, click overseas, put the weight and select Ireland (Republic). For 1Kg the price is £6.46 airmail small packets I think.

I tried to do that a moment ago baabi and there was no country listed for Ireland (republic of) or Eire or anything similar.

I knew that is was the same as any other european country, I just wanted clarifacton of how much it would be, and that I could use the "small packet" ready reckoner table to work it out.

Geordie, sorry, that came out too strongly! I just see this question a lot, and just had a customer quering postage as they are insisting postage to Ireland is the same as UK...my irritation just came through on the post I am ashamed to say!

Am harassed myself, as am surrounded by parcels and bubble wrap when really I want to be in my bed!
