Did anyone ever manage to stop food hording for binges? I’ve horded food in periods of stress for at least the last 15 years as it makes me feel safe, to know that the binge is programmed in when I need to/when the next uncontrollable urge comes.
It’s not caused me too much life trouble except frequent binges mean I’m a a bit heavier than I’d like to be, but my dd has been stealing sweets from shops and hiding them in her room and I’m wondering if anyone had any good ideas on this.
I’m supposed to get dd to have better coping mechanisms, but what?
