Not sure what to do next

It’s been 2 months since separation and DH moved out family home. He is still paying mortgage and bills on it.

I have had solicitor send him a draft separation agreement (DH gave the finances for it). But now nothing. He has not yet signed it or questioned it and I feel in limbo not knowing what my position is what I am meant to do next?

We have agreed to sell house and he will need his equity.

I’m not sure if he has seen a solicitor.

Is this time frame normal/ to be expected?

Why bother with separation agreement rather than straight to divorce ?

@millymollymoomoo I thought that was a good basis for then divorce after the year living apart? As don’t we need the child and financial stuff agreed for divorce?
