Cafcass safeguarding checks

I was granted a no notice prohibited steps order which stopped dc dad from having contact.
Court ordered cafcass safeguarding checks to be completed and filed by March 13th.
We have court again in May.

I'm now confused; am I suppose to have sight of the cafcass checks? Are they suppose to speak to me? Dc?

They were suppose to complete checks previously and didn't - so the courts sent us away until they had been completed.
I'm suppose to write a statement in response in the coming weeks - but haven't had the report / any contact with cafcass.

I have called them and they said they have no record of being involved with us since 2015.

Any help would be appreciated Smile

In my experience CAFCASS were pretty rubbish and slow. They said they had spoken with my ex when they didn’t. They said my children were known to social services they weren’t. They got DOBs wrong, they referred to one of my DDs as he. They filed reports late.

They took ages to contact me, I made sure they corrected their mistakes via my solicitor. I was not happy as their information could have caused issues as what they had written was not true. Keep an eye on them.

I can't afford a solicitor this time - I've already spent £20,000 to retain residency of dc and expose his lies.

I'm guessing I'll just have to write a statement and put in there that cafcass haven't made contact and I haven't had sight of the checks - otherwise I guess I'll be breaking what the courts have asked for

Write to the court to explain that CAFCASS say they have no knowledge of the case.

It's not unheard of for the court not to send the order to CAFCASS.
