Ive been with my fiancé for two years. We have a one year old daughter together. We were living with his parents till we get on our feet. Today it all kicked off between us all, he is stopping me from having my daughter and says I will never see her again.

What steps do I take to have her back with me? Btw his name is on the certificate

Any advice be grateful as I'm really desperate to have my daughter with me Sad

He doesn’t own her! You are her mum and she is very young so you must have access. The days of men taking children away from their mothers are over!!

You need to see a solicitor asap. If you fear him taking her abroad then ring the police.
It is illegal to stop you having access to your child.

@xzcvbnm not misandry, fact. Up to the 1970s children were the property of their fathers and could be taken from their mothers. No more, than God. Yes OP should call the police if necessary.

He has the same rights over her as you do...see below

A mother automatically has parental responsibility for her child from birth. A father usually has parental responsibility if he's either: married to the child's mother. listed on the birth certificate (after a certain date, depending on which part of the UK the child was born in)
