My partner and I (not married) split up a few months ago and we have agreed to sell the house. We are joint owners of the property, so everything should be split equally. Do we need to each have a separate solicitor or can we just use one solicitor and then split the money?
I have asked him to pay the early repayment fee on the mortgage and the estate agent fees as the split was caused by him, he agreed to this.
