Calculator says dh should pay £88 pw towards our 2 dcs. He has agreed £100. If we get this drawn up as a legal document is this normal to add in some sort or adjustment in the future for interest/ cost of living? Dcs are only 8 & 3 so will be paying for quite a few years!

Nothing is set in stone.
You can have triggers that mean the agreement can be reevaluated.

So a trigger could be that cost of living has increased significantly since the original agreement.

My understanding is maintenance payments on a consent order are actually only valid for a year anyway. Do you have to get it done legally? We just agree ours between us saves on legal fees.
