Husband keeps shouting about divorce but wont do anything

I thought it was just one of those tricky bits of life where there's a lot going on (children health, my health)and we were working together as a team, then on Monday he starts screaming at me for "doing nothing"and he wants a divorce. He's not left though, nor done anything towards this divorce he wants. I've just been googling, and can't see that him remaining in the family home is really conducive to divorcing, but I also can't see why me,two children and the dog should have to go and sleep elsewhere and live out of suitcases. I've found a family solicitors that does mediation, and I'm trying to live chat with relate, but what else can I do? Any effort to talk with him about it are met with foul language and screaming, which upsets the children.

He may have had legal advice telling him not to leave the house as this could reduce the proportion of the finances he gets. Some times you have to live in a shit situation till the finances are resolved.
