Try halfords.

chests, trays, boxes, cases etc.

Get a trade card whilst your in there.

DH has a selection ranging from big chests in the garage for his mechanic tools to a hold-all style for his decorating tools.
Will your dad be carrying the tools round or working in one place? Think about the types of jobs and tools he’ll be needing and get a suitable box.
