Agree Cod, I think he's brilliant.

He does a great sketch about being Southern, and what happens when you travel North.

Really? I haven't noticed that. Last saw him on Mock the Week and they all seemed very chummy.

Why do you think they don't like him?

aRE you related to him?

ACtually, first time I saw him on telly, I thought 'oh what a posh perfumed ponce' but I found him funny and have always laughed at him since.

dd1 and friend are going to see him in Southend in November. I have never heard of him but they assure me he's not an adults only comedian. Can Mners confirm this please?

Report
Snaf · 14/09/2008 12:17

'Chubby braying toff' is not a great comedy persona. He gets on my tits, frankly.

Yet another reason to swoon at DM (ticks list).

Report
AlaskaNebraska · 01/11/2009 13:01

ah that was in the old days before codgate

Report
cocolepew · 01/11/2009 13:06

I saw him last night, me and my friend's faces were stuck like this-> for hours.

Report
clam · 01/11/2009 13:09

Why is it considered OK not to like someone because they are "posh" or " a braying toff?" but would absolutely not be OK if it was because they were common/working class/whatever?

I think he's very funny, but his social class has nothing to do with anything.
