Is it worth it?

I have DS (who will be 5 by the time it is in the local theatre) and a DD who is 2. Am thinking ants-in-her-pants 2 year old may not sit. What's it like? Is there enough to keep her vaguely amused or should I take DS on his own? He would love it, I'm sure.

We went. DS was just over 3, DD was about to turn 2. Our DS enjoyed most of it and sat down for some of it, but then was up at the fornt of the stage bopping away. We'd only previously taken him to a panto at Xmas (he'd just turned 3) and he was enthralled.

I would take your DS on his own if you can. Will be a really special time!

Our DD is very active and was a real nightmare. Tantrums - only sat still for about 3 mins. Saying that, she hardly sits still anyway.

The weird thing was, I was a bit dissapointed since it was basically all just dancing...so not really like the TV show which I had hoped it would be really, but DS loved it.
Have you taken your DCs to see anyhitng before?

DS is very good in the theatre - has been to pantos / kids' productions / circus etc. DD has never been. i think she wouldn't sit still. i suspect DS would enjoy it but think i may be best saving my money for something else. thanks for your comment though.
