Awful incident with partners ex that involved the police (she called them unnecessarily, they told her off for wasting their time). This is now the second time it has happened. How do we go about getting a copy of the crime report? The policeman told us we could get it through a solicitor but we really can't afford to do that. Is there a way of requesting it ourselves or does it involve the legal know how?
