Please help.
I applied for a loan which was agreed but tippexed out my payday lender loans. The finance company saw this and have said that they will be conducting an internal investigation but won’t say what will happen.
I cancelled the loan application immediately.
My income and expenditure were absolutely fine with a lot of disposable income.
But I'm worried I may be credit blacklisted now.
I appreciate how stupid I was but a really worried what will happen now. The loan company won't tell me anything Sad

Did you tippix out loans with outstanding amounts?

I left the amounts in and the reference number, just tippexed out the name of the lender

You are applying for more loans on top of payday loans?

Were you planning to repay the payday loans with the new one?

If so, why would you need to hide the payday lender name?
If not, you and your finances are in far bigger trouble than an "internal investigation" with a lender, I'm sorry to say Sad

(Also, once you have been approved, the search is already on your credit file, whether you cancelled it or not. So you've potentially made it worse in terms of any other loans now too)

I think you need financial advice as it feels like you are bankrolling payments for payday loans with another loan. If you are living within your means payday loans aren’t necessary and are usually high interest for small amounts.

If you can afford a bigger loan for a large purchase such as a car, you wouldn’t need payday loans.

I’d maybe make an appointment at your bank and at CAB to speak to money advisor. It feels like you’re beginning a spiral of debt that can only go downwards.
