Hello, stupid question which I can’t find the answer to online.

Can you use a credit card to transfer your balance from your regular bank account (so not a balance transfer from one credit card to another)

Do you mean you want to transfer money to your bank account to cover an overdrawn balance? I'm not sure many cards offer thst service

Yes, you can get money transfer cards where you request a sum of money to be put into your bank account. There are quite a few around.
