Research Help - Can't Find The Book I Need

Hello,

I finally started writing my latest novel and realised as I wrote that there are still so many more things I need to know, before I can really make an effort on this story.

I've managed to get hold of everything I realised I needed, except a book about human trafficking. The few I've found which are relevant to me, are extremely expensive. Upwards of fifty quid, and one is £130.

What I specifically need information about is the arrangements which have to be made to snuggle people out of Warren countries, and the travel involved, and how it all works.

Can anyone think of a book which could help me? Which isn't the super expensive ones?

Is there not a website or Youtube channel? A documentary perhaps?

Read the Livia Lone series by Barry Eisler. The bloke has seriously done his research on trafficking.

@HennyPennyHorror that's a good idea actually; I won't retain all the information but I do find it easy to absorb a lot still, I love going on YouTube documentary marathons, researching whatever. Thanks, I didn't think of that.

@LemonPastries thanks, I'll look at that. I've found a lot of novels about trafficking, specially for sex and slaves. I wasn't sure if reading fiction would help but actually this sounds a good series.

I've found one book, it's on Kindle only. And is about six quid. But it won't let me download it for some reason. I've bought hard copies of other books and maps because I'm rather old school with research materials. But I really want to read this one. Dammit.

Thanks again. This novel has become a huge project but I'm really into it and I feel like I'm doing something for a change.
