Twins - bedside co-sleeper vs Moses baskets

Hi all,

I'm pregnant with twins and looking for peoples thoughts on sleeping arrangements for the early months.
I like the idea of these bedside cosleepers that attach to your bed so the babies are within reach. However I know one of the main benefits of these is being able to breastfeed them laying down and it occurred to me that I won't be able to feed both babies like that anyway.
I was wondering what people's experience/ thoughts are? I do like the good old Moses basket as well, not sure which to choose.
Thanks

hi, each twin needs their own safe sleep space . You can get space saving cots if you don't have the room for standard sizes.
I highly recomend safe sleep and baby care evidence based group on Facebook or motherhood without the woo.
Good luck

I don't think bedside sleepers would work for twins - either you'd need one on each side of the bed and you'd have to reach over your partner to get to a baby, or you'd have them both on your side of the bed and you wouldn't be able to get out. You could get two bedside-style cribs and just have them against a wall or at the foot of the bed with the sides up? That's what we did from about 2m. I wouldn't want to use moses baskets for overnight because I'd hate to have to bend all the way down, and the stands always sway and wobble IME and I'd be terrified of sleepily knocking them over.

Ours shared a cot bed which was my side of
the bed :) we would have had two Moses baskets otherwise

We have cosleepers for our twins with one on each side. We always have the side up so they are basically stand alone cribs - bigger than a Moses basket but smaller than full size cots. We did have them next to each other at one point but they just disturbed each other. I breastfeed them both and DH usually helps with winding so it's not a problem that one is next to him.
