Vibrating device for cot?

I had a vibrating co-sleeper for my baby (the Halo Bassinest) but now he's outgrown it and is ready to go into a normal sized cot.

But the vibrating function really helps me get him back to sleep. I don't know what I'll do without it Confused

Anyone know a portable vibrating device that I can use on his cot? I saw two on Amazon but they don't get amazing reviews. (The summer infant soothe and the Munchkin lullavibe).

Would love to hear any tips?!

There's the episode of Sex and the City where Samantha looks after Miranda's baby, who only stops crying when he's in a vibrating chair. The chair breaks and the baby won't stop screaming. Until Samantha attaches a massive vibrator to the chair. Worth a try, somewhere discreet?!

Joking aside, I honestly think a big cheap vibrator, strapped out of sight under the cot and plenty batteries on standby is probably your best bet.

But never tell anyone in real life and never think of wheeling it out as an amusing anecdote in the future no matter how much time has passed. Grin

I wasn't joking :) You should get a good idea of power and longevity from reviews as well Grin

Actually, if I remember the episode well, I think Samantha's vibrator was "back massager"... 😂 So maybe not a bad plan!

I taped a bullet vibrator to a bouncy chair. Worked a bloody dream. And I'm not even ashamed!!!

I just rewatched the clip and the guy in the shop insists the one she is returning is "neck massager". She thens goes on to advise fellow shoppers about the relative merits of the various "massagers".

Other customer: "I think that one actually is a back massager."

Samanatha: "Not if you mount it."
