Cocoonababy - worth it?

Hi all,

I've bought a Moses basket and a cotbed for our baby who is due in a month. My work had kindly given me a John Lewis voucher as a leaving gift and I have been considering buying a cocoonababy with it.

However I'm aware that it only lasts for 4 months, plus it would render my Moses basket obsolete?

Does anyone own a cocoonababy and if so, do you think it's worth getting? Or should I save my voucher for something else?

TIA!

My baby loved the cocoona baby and slept in it much better than his bedside crib (which we put the cocoona baby into) It lasted until he was about 3 months by which time he was ready and happy to sleep in his crib and then we moved him to his cot on his own room fairly seamlessly.

We have now had baby number 2 and she isn't sleeping as well in it but absolutely will not sleep at all without it so I would say it was a great buy for us. Other friends also thought it was great but many people swear by the sleepyhead as an alternative.
