Narrow travel cots

We have just bought a campervan with a fold down bed. Planning to take our tent away with us for long hols but for weekend camping we will sleep in the van. Our 7 month old baby could either sleep in the small space between the fold down bed where there is only a 44cm gap or on the front seats in a similarly confined area. Does anyone know of a really narrow travel cot? Am wondering if we should let her sleep between us on the fold down bed......

The smallest I know of is the Samsonite pop-up bubble cot and that is 60cm wide. It is fab and we have used ours up until our children were 2. But it's still too wide for your space.

Might go on the front seats tho! will measure and check it out. We have an interim measure of her old carry cot although she has about an inch to spare at the top and bottom.

There are two kinds of Samsonite cot - you would definitely need the bubble one, as the other one only goes up to 6 months. There are usually a few on Ebay.

Thanks for that. Husband informs me if she goes on the front seats we can take the neck supports out for easier access to her and 60cm would be fine. i liked the look of the samsonite too although I thought the phil and teds might be better as a possible play pen too.

they sell the bubble cots on a site called Ten Bags of sugar, not sure how much they are. My friend bought one and swears by it!
