Summer holiday 2021?

Tempted to book a fully refundable week in France, and hope we can travel by August Is it a really bad idea? I’m worried we won’t all be vaccinated in time (well the children definitely won’t) or will have to test 2 days before we go (I wouldn’t book in this case as would lose the money if someone was positive). Insurance covering covid or travelling against FCO advice also a bit of an unknown. Not worried about isolating on return though, this wouldn’t be too much of an issue. As I type this it sounds a ridiculous idea! Anyone else that would go for it to secure the place, and keep fingers crossed?

We’ve booked for July, only have to pay balance 3 weeks before, free change to date or can cancel and use the deposit at a later date. Keeping positive that all will be more normal then!
