We know having a high bmi increases risk of hospitalisation from Covid by at least 2x. Could we introduce fines for people who refuse to lose weight.

It could be a £100 fine for the first time, and doubling every time thereafter. We could use neighbours to call the Covid Marshall if people are not exercising or calling pizza delivery. I know it seems a bit draconian, but there is absolutely no doubt that this would save lives. We could link the weight loss app to NHS covid app maybe.
