Of course one night stands will happen.. this isn’t going to be forever. These are just procedures being considered for the time being while the virus is at large. These industries have to try to open or they’ll collapse

But once there is a vaccine or the virus becomes weaker or the case numbers are as low as seasonal flu for example, things will return to normal. We won’t be social distancing for the next 100 years! The ever popular Spanish Flu theorists can even acknowledge it didn’t go on for long. Two years & normal life resumed!

But people don't spend often large amounts of cash for a night out in the expectation that it will be 'not that bad'. They want to have fun, to relax, to let their hair down. If they're going to have a regimented experience with one way routes through the club and asking stewards for permission to use the bathroom, most people would prefer to buy some drink from the off-licence and invite some friends around instead.
