Currently waiting for my results of a CV test as 3 days ago I started with a high temp, chills, headache, and horrific stomach cramps and diarrhoea.
I have no respiratory symptoms at all.
Anyone else had these symptoms with CV? Sorry if it's TMI but I've never had diarrhoea like this and it's showing no signs of letting up I feel awful

I had that in November
It was norovirus
That headache was something else
Had to go to bed and drifted in and out of sleep

Btw
How long ahead did you have to book your test.
My son was in contact with someone with cv in May but couldn’t book a courier till mid June

I booked it on the gov website and got an appointment the same day @Dowser
It was a drive through test though so no courier involved

I suspect it may be a tummy bug/ Norovirus but with everything going on at the moment and the high fever I thought it best to get tested

Definitely sounds more like food poisoning (norovirus causes more vomiting rather than D). I had exactly those symptoms when I had campylobacter. The D was horrific. It usually clears up within about 7-10 days but I had to have ABs in the end as it was still persisting after three weeks.

Diarrhoea and cramps are a recognised symptom of Covid-19, headaches are also very common. Definitely important to get a test. Good luck with the test and hope you feel better soon.

Thanks all, I'm hoping I'll have the results back soon. I'm still getting cramps and diarrhoea although I don't think it's quite as often and my temp has come down today.
Still got a headache and the shivers

DS2 age 9 woke up this morning with a temp, sore neck, headache and tummy ache. DH booked him a drive thru appt for this afternoon. Of course by them he was fine, although still a bit achey. He didn’t like the test, it made him choke all though thankfully it seems in wales they don’t stick it up your nose so that was a plus as he would not have liked that!

So my test results came back negative which is a relief, I feel a little better in myself but this diarrhoea just will not let up Sad
It's day 5 now and it's not getting any better, any tips on how to help it?
