BJ slipped in the new secondary plan...

Opening for Y10/12 from 15th, with only a quarter of year group in at a time.

That’s not been announced before, and he just slipped it in as though it was old news.

The funny thing is that as a teacher, that’s the first I’m hearing about it too.
So, I don’t think this is something we’ve all been working to and he’s just let slip the plans .
I suspect we’ll all be scrabbling to work out the logistics after half-term.

Why only a quarter of students at a time?

Surely with only two out of five years attending they can take all of them?

The plan of Opening for Y10/12 has been around for a few weeks, we just knew if was mid June and wouldn't be 'normal' classes, just some contact time. My DC school has plans to be ready by 8th June.
All that has changed is being told the exact date.

The plan thus far has been “some time from the 1st” and “groups of no more than 15”.

That’s really different to “no more than a quarter of the year group in school at any one time”
