I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue but here goes..

I am due back at work from the 1st of June. I work in a nursery and my children can attend for 2 days (I can not afford 5 days..) so my question is can my mum look after them the other 3?
My mum isn't high risk, she's under 50yrs old, and she has/can continue to work from home. I can drive so the kids will be dropped straight to the door, no public transport.
I've seen something saying drop the kids off on Monday and pick up Friday which I am not willing to do, my children are 3 yrs and 5 months and I will not not see them all week.
Would you just not go back to work (I could really do with the money and I've been on maternity since November so honestly was looking forward
to returning to work, although not sure what it will be like now to be fair), would you send your kids the your parents 5 days a week?
I'm just so confused on what is allowed/not allowed and don't know what to do?!

Teacher here, also heading back to work June 1st, DS will go to school for key worker care as he's year 2 so not in the phase 1 return but given that he has to be collected at 3:10 and I'll be 40 minutes away seeing out my class my mum is going to have to collect him and take care of him after school until I can pick him up from her house. He would normally attend the after school club which is currently not running and I have no idea when they plan to start up again so what choice do I have? If you have no other choice then as long as your mum is happy to do it then that is what you'll have to do.
