Covid

I’ve screwed up this morning

I’ve got a horrendous migraine - apparently - first time for everything, most immediate family (parents, grandparents, both mums brothers and my sister) have them severely so makes sense I’d have them too . Been up all night vomiting with it . NHS24 speaking to me at 3am then GP on phone at 8 to sort out medication .

Woke up this morning to door being knocked, stupidly opened the door and took Hermes parcel without remembering, swapped for another one that needs returning then remembered should be social distancing . Delivery driver didn’t do anything distancing either . Then opened parcel, didn’t wash hands and went back up to bed .

It’s just occurred to me after waking up again that I’ve put myself at risk both by face to face contact with the driver (albeit for less than 1 minute) and not washing my hands .

I’m bloody shattered and so so bloody sore and tired, I’ve torn something in my throat from being so sick so can hardly talk . I’ve been so bloody careful with self isolating and hand washing since mid March and can’t believe I forgot this morning . As did the Hermes lady, but that’s beside the point I suppose ...

Think I will go back to bed 😣

Go back to bed. Chances are you'll not have caught the corona.

Feel better soon

My Coronavirus started with a massive migraine, I also was vomiting because of it. The fever arrived 24-30 hours later. You might be the infectious one, be careful.

Oh God I hope not, I’ve not had any contact with another person face to face since 15th March - until the delivery driver today . Only way I could have caught it is from packaging or while out for a walk which seems very unlikely - given I almost never even see anyone else whilst out walking .

Well what's done is done, nothing you can do about it now so just put it from your mind and look after yourself. Hope you feel better soon.

Ah in that case I wouldn’t worry at all.

I think I know where I got it from. I went to a small fruit and veggie shop, and I was well inside it before I realised that the owner was coughing all over and had probably done so for most of the day! Symptoms started 4ish days after that, so it’s plausible. From what you say your chances of having caught it are zero!
