They are reporting confirmed cases in my area like this now. My town is 2 new today does that mean not really bad here. Like not loads of people walking around with it.

Confirmed cases is not a particularly reliable guide because it only shows people who have been tested and the vast majority of people with Covid have not been tested. I think the link I have attached with a map is a more reliable guide. It's based on data collected by Kings College from over 3 million users of their app who check in each day to say how they are feeling (regardless of whether they have symptoms or feel 100% fine). The scientists use what they know about Covid symptoms to estimate which untested people are also likely to have Covid.

I would encourage you to download the app yourself and check in each day (once you've provided the initial information it takes less than 30 seconds to check in each day). The more people use the app, the more reliable their predictions will be.

I have been using the app for a few weeks but never went on there website will have a look.
