Anyone else really missing friends?

Txt/ phone/ FaceTime it’s just not the same as being with them!

For a bit of background I’m not that close to my family (who live a couple of hundred miles away anyhow). So the few friends I have are really important to me, I invest a lot into friendships. Meeting up with them, going for lunch / coffees/ exercise classes, is such a stress reliever for me, and just a way to bring happiness into my life.
As a couple Dh and I have another couple who are quite important in our lives, our kids and theirs are like cousins. They often stay at ours or we go to theirs - so we are missing them loads too.
Knowing the virus is going to be around until an effective vaccine has been implemented, I’m scared we won’t be able to socialise until then! Sad

I'm the opposite. I've realised I don't have very close friends but I'm missing my family.
I'm actually a bit worried about the friendships I did have pre-CV. I feel like they may have dwindled as they weren't so strong in the first place.

I guess it’s our “people” we’re missing whether that be family or friends. I need social contact it’s always been important to me. I have Dh and ds but I miss the support and laughs that I get from friends.

I have a handful of friends who are an integral part of my support network and who are the people who I have really lovely times with and laugh with. I miss them terribly.

My more peripheral friends, I am content with messaging for now.

Nah, haven’t got any and I am tired of seeing my family and work colleagues constantly. I am yearning for the days of strolling through the city anonymously, loads of people and bustle but being free to do as I please.
