How are your Y12s coping with this? Mine swings between "It's OK, I'm getting the hang of this" and tears of panic. Pretty much normal for her! But she's finding it more draining than all the independent stuff she's doing from the lesson plans emailed out by her teachers.
Right now the German teacher is going through the most recent assignments and they're all marking their own work together. I'm watching her hold back the tears while she tries to mark her work, completely unable to join in the general chit-chat. She's a very able student, so it's highly unlikely that her distress is due to errors.
