We’ve been isolating. DH and kids seem ok, I suddenly started having diarrhoea. No takeaways, home made fresh food. Been out only for essentials, working from home and hand washing regularly.
I’m in a mid terrace house, my next door neighbour has symptoms.

Could this be the start of Covid for me? If anyone had diarrhoea and then progressed to other CV symptoms, pls could you tell me what to expect next???

Try not to panic.

But in my case it was COVID and what happened next is I got sick, first lethargy, then chills, then a whole range of symptoms.

Then again, my mum frightened the life out of us by developing diarrhoea and a light head last weekend (shed been shielded for 3 weeks by then) and it developed into nothing and she was fine in 48 hours.

I suggest you give bit of thought about how you can best isolate from your family in case it does turn out to be covid but after that try and relax as much as possible.

You haven't upped your dose of Vitamin C have you? That can cause it.

Happened to me last week. Nothing came of it. Just stress I reckon.

Like a PP I had the same thing last week - worried me at the time but nothing came of it and I've also put it down to stress.

@AmazingBouncingFerret : I really really hope mine is something similar. H has this weird competitive thing. Every time I’m not well, he jumps in with a “me too” and tries to deteriorate faster. He gets better as soon as I’m better. I’m lucky I don’t get ill very often (touches wood!) or else I’d have divorced him long back.
Now with no external help and a deteriorating husband, my small kids will struggle. I’m so worried for them.

I had this the other week, was really worried it was C19 but fine now. I actually think it's the stress and anxiety (and maybe the extra chocolate, wine and general crap I'm consuming!)

I had tummy problems last week too for no apparent reason, other than underlying stress Im not aware of but probably have or perhaps because I’m peri-menopausal!
It didn’t come to anything.
