Chemical Pregnancy?

Hi folks... I think I probably know the answer to this, but is it possible to have a chemical pregnancy without a positive test? My AF is at least 3 days late (erratic cycles so it could be as much as 5 days late). Over the last couple of weeks I've had so many symptoms incl frequent peeing, starving hunger, fatigue and consistently high temps.. until today when it's dropped dramatically. No AF yet, but I'm fairly sure she's on her way. I've done two tests, one at 13DPO and another today at 15DPO, and both BFN... do you think it's likely I was pg and it's just not implanted properly, like a chemical pg? Or am I clutching at straws?

HI WorrisomeHeart

I was in the exact situation as this last week. High temps and a late AF, I did HPT at 12, 13 and 14 dpo and all negative. My luteal phase is never more than 13 days and usually 11 or 12. My temp dropped today and AF started with a big gush instead of slowly starting like normal. I think this could have been a chemical pregnancy as I had strong preg symptoms from 7dpo for several days then the symptoms lessened and went away.

Here's hoping for next month.

I had a chemical pregnancy last month and suspect could be having another this month. What Anniemac went through is exactly what I went through last month. I had 3 tests with faint lines, and then suddenly AF hit.

Fingers crossed AF doesnt come for the next 9 months
