Can clear blue tests near their use by date be wrong?

I am usually pretty regular but my period has not started yet and I am two days overdue. I DTD in my fertile window apparently. I took a clear blue test yesterday mid morning, but it is nearing it's use by date (29th September 2020). It came back negative, but every late afternoon, I feel very tired and dizzy, like I did in early pregnancy with my second child. Am i convincing myself I am pregnant? Could a Clear Blue test be wrong?

Clearblue usually needs more HCG hormone present for them to work. When is your period due ? You could try the FRER test.

They don't stop working on that date, however they may loose some sensitivity. I'd try a fresh test with FMP to be sure.x
