Abit of a long history so please bear with me. We've been TTC for 10 years, went through 1 IVF on NHS 3 years ago which didn't work. I used to have really painful period so I went private last year and was dianogsed with severe endometriosis and adenomyosis: my tubes were stuck to the abdominal walls, ovaries were stuck and bowels were also stuck. I then had 2 lapos where they managed to free up everything with no major complications which I'm very thankful for.
I've been on Cerretze on and off since (mainly because I react terrible with the pills and have long period of bleeding when I'm on them), but everytime I stopped, AF came back nicely and regularly, until now.
I've decided to take another chance with IVF so decided to stop the pills last month, and both me and DH have been taking Pregnacare for the last 2 months or so.
I then had a cycle (3 days bleed) just a few days after stopping the pills. My cycle has always been 26-28 days without fail. I've never had a late cycle, ever. But now i'm on day 37, so signs of AF, i'm nauseaus every now and then (could be imagination), twinges in lower back and vague period pain (could be anything), I have no other symptomps otherwise apart from 2 weeks ago i had accessive saliva for a good week or so and I'm thirstier and more tired than usual. I'm quite ok with not being pregnant as I've made peace with doing IVF this round (whenever AF comes), but she's not here, and my tests have been negative.
I called my GP who said just wait it out and if I miss 3 months then come in for a test. I don't think I can wait 3 months hahah WTH! They don't offer blood test anymore. I just want to rule it out or having confirmation so I can get on with life and plan for it.
Any word of advice would be hugely appreciated, please. I'm driving myself abit crazy googling everything under the sun :(
