Hi everyone! Trying to conceive baby number 2 and about to start first cycle of clomid once period comes in next few days! Is there anyone here that has taken clomid that can tell me what their cycle lengths were when taking it? I used it to conceive #1 but that was 2 years ago so can't quite remember the details, I'm quite sure my cycles were still longer when using it! Feeling incredibly guilty about the fact I might not be able to give DS a sibling. Any success stories of using clomid to get pregnant for a 2nd time much appreciated! Thanks 😊

Sorry to jump on here but can I just ask whether you were prescribed Clomifene through your GP and if so how long did you have to wait until they prescribed it?
I've been reading about it online and seen that you can purchase through online pharmacies after a consultation form.

Hi you're gp will refer you to a fertility specialist who can prescribe clomid for you. It was quite a lengthy process for me but I'm sure everyone's experiences are different 😊

Hi ladies it’s my first time on here and everything I’m reading is helping massively to know I’m not alone.
I’m taking Clomifene 50mg. I got pregnant on my first cycle but miscarried. I’m now on my 4th cycle and my monitoring blood tests have shown that my progesterone levels are less than 1. I haven’t ovulated at all. I’m feeling completely broken as I’m 39 soon and feel like my time is running out. This is secondary infertility for me. I’m on day 29 of my cycle and my period hasn’t arrived yet. I’ve always had a very low libido and I’m guessing that’s linked with low progesterone too. Has anyone got any advice on what I can do to increase my progesterone? It could be a daft question but it’s worth asking!? X

I should add I've been told to stop taking Clomifene because for the last 3 weeks I've had awful side effects which I never got with the first 3 cycles. I've had all of the tests and there is nothing wrong with my insides, just the low progesterone and lack of ovulation. I'm fit and healthy otherwise 😭 x
