Has anyone felt like they're coming on they're period but ended up being pregnant?

Hi guys, basically I am due on today, my periods have been abit all over the shop recently, but I am due on today, anyways I feel as if I'm about to come on but I haven't, usually I wake up in the morning and af has arrived, but I feel quite nauseous, tired, crampyish, but no blood yet? I've took a test and it's negative, I'm so confused

Yes early pregnancy often feels just like you're about to get your period. However a negative test on the day it's due most likely means you're not pregnant. Lots of things can affect your cycle such as stress or change of diet or exercise. You'll probably come on later today, but if not take another test first thing tomorrow.

Yes. Happened to me. This is why symptom spotting is never reliable. I was devastated that I felt my period coming on. Next thing I knew, BFP. Good luck.

Yes I felt bloated and had period pains for several days but no period. I amazon primed some pregnancy tests and voila I was pregnant.

Yep, I thought it was definitely my period, but it didn't come for a few more days so I tested and she is now 5 years old

Yes. Pregnancy number one, I've never been so sure my period was on its way but I was defo pregnant!

Thanks guys! I've just taken another test and bfn, I had 2 faint faint line yesterday, maybe they was faulty tests , I've got some 10miu ones coming today x

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you but it could be a chemical pregnancy (v early miscarriage) - this happens with 70% of conceptions because our bodies have evolved to accept only the most healthy embryos.

Last month I felt like I was coming on, so much so I was going to bed wearing pads, ended up finding out I was pregnant but sadly had an early miscarriage at 5+1 weeks.

It’s an annoying and odd sensation but it happens x
