Has anyone been on the pill had this ?

Hi I was wondering if and looking for advice I started the pill about July 2018 - April/may 2019 I have had the first “fake period” that u get when u finish the pill then I went a while without the had one in June my prom. then I spotted in August and September I think and November I had brown discharge for 2/3 days then I had the same discharge 21-24th April but the first day it was pink (I have a photo of if needed) then got a little red in it then went brown (also have a picture of it) when I checked my knickers and have had nothing since then, is this normal? and any advice how to regulate/get my period back? I’m not pregnant as I took a test I just don’t fancy going to the doctor I have bad anxiety and don’t want to be getting needles and tested unless I really need to ! I was just seeing if you know anything to bring it back? Before I do end up having to book an appointment many thanks.

I dont understand? Are you still on the pill and just not getting the withdrawal bleed? You need to take 1 week break per month on the combined pill to get a period.

Or are you off the pill now and your periods still arent right? Cause I came off in june last year and I've probably only had 5 periods since then. It isnt a problem. Just the body takes time to adjust.

What you describe is not unusual for a young person coming off the pill.

I don’t think it sounds odd, just sounds like breakthrough bleeding/withdrawal bleeding

If you’re concerned because it’s been a year since you stopped taking it and your periods haven’t resumed, call your GP. It will just be a phone appointment due to covid, so you won’t be getting tested for anything immediately, only if your GP thinks it’s necessary

No I'm not I stopped it completely when I mentioned it around this time last year and ok just feels weird no to have a period but I guess I've gotta wait till it decides it wants to come back

And did you go doctors and if so what did they say ?
