DTD every day or every other day?

I'm conflicted here... every day means we're covering every possible chance but then sperm count can be lower. Every other day means the sperm is likely to live long enough to cover it but what if it doesn't!? I know I'm over thinking it but I'm obviously not the only one to wonder.
Also (sorry for tmi) as much as I read up on this and read that it doesn't matter, I'm still convinced that after DTD when the semen drips out, it's game over. I can be lying down with legs up and it still drips out!

Basically I just need someone to reassure me please 😂

Every day worked for me twice.

Nhs advice was every 2 days back in my day. I used a moon cup type thing to avoid drippage are rank smelling underwear. I've read that that makes no difference though.

If there is any male factor issues with your partners sperm then over other day is recommended. If not daily is fine but obviously not for the whole month - give them a little rest! 🤣

I think we averaged every 1.3 days (missed a few days out of 14). It worked twice for us.

I tended to try and do something like sperm meets egg (every other day with 3 days in a row when you get a positive OPK). In the end, I found it stressful doing the OPKs and trying to plan it so we just DTD every day for around a week over the time I always ov'd.

I read something about the sperm getting up there really quick so that what drips out wouldn't be useful anyway. Even so, I tried to DTD at night and then just go straight to sleep anyway as it made me feel better!

Maybe try both? We did smep this month. Although did it every day from peak OPK to 5dpo. Last month we did a 36 hour gap 3 times. And one more DTD session 2 days prior to that. Didn't do anything after the day of ovulation.
Next month I'm going to try every other day from end of AF to past ovulation I think? No idea on his sperm count.

I’ve been trying a bit of both. Ie do it 2 days in a row then skip a day, then one day, then skip a day. Although not that strict about it.
With regards to it dripping out (we’ve all been there and it’s annoying) this month I bought a moon cup for this and it’s changed my life! It’s definitely a good way to make sure it stays up there for a while!

Thanks for your input guys! Will probably try daily this month and then every other day next cycle.
I've heard about the moon cup idea but I just can't get along with them in general so I think I'm gonna have to just stick to my usual legs in the air thing 😂
