Is 12DPO too early to test?

Hi lovely people!

Is 12dpo too early to take a pregnancy test? I was going to wait until my official missed period, but I just feel like something is off this month. I woke up this morning absolutely shattered, with aching muscles and a weird metal taste in my mouth. I had an episode of sharp, stabby pain in my left lower stomach yesterday, and I dunno, I just feel bloated and tired and rubbish!

It probably all means that AF is on her way, and I do have PCOS, so it might be my body just telling me how much she hates me, but would you test if you were me?

I never tested earlier than when Af was due because I didn't want to get my hopes up or to get disappointed to see a negative and knowing I used a test.

But you could get a positive of a faint one if you're sure of when you ovulated. Make sure you test with a sensitive test.

You should be able to test at 12DPO provided you use a sensitive test like a First Response. Fingers crossed. x

Thanks for your replies, guys! I picked up some tests on my way home and then found out I had some slight pink spotting when I wiped. could this be implantation bleeding? If I've only just implanted would it be too early to be a positive? Hardly daring to hope after the many years of trying!
