Hi, new to this but have looked on Mumsnet for advice about all kinds of things before, so now I have baby related questions I thought I would pop in and post

Firstly - is there a guide you can point me to for all of the acronyms on the forum?

Secondly, we have just referred for IVF. I have SLE but only had one mild flair up which led to diagnosis and is currently under control. I know there are lots of opinions about diet vs science but given that we are self funding for IVF and I am higher risk due to age and lupus, I want to do as much as I can without driving myself crazy . Also I am vegetarian (always have been) and am conscious that I need to make sure my nutritional intake covers everything - it's generally good but can always be better

Any advice gratefully received except eating meat Smile

In order,
here is your acronym list www.mumsnet.com/info/acronyms

For the medical science on diet and ivy you can have a look here www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=diet+and+ivf

and here

nutritionfacts.org/topics/fertility/

There doesn't seem to be an ideal ivf diet, however I would add that based on what we know, limiting ultra-processed food is certainly the first step.
Good luck
