Too early to test?

Hello! First time on the threads so bear with me!

I am a mom of 3. My youngest is 9 months old and we are still breastfeeding strong!
I had my first post pregnancy period at 4 months and MAN have they been irregular!!! I’m talking about skipping a month... or going like... 50 days then 40 days.

Well:.. I am on day 41 of my cycle and I’m concerned I may be pregnant again!
I had sex 19 days ago and I did take ovulation tests a day before and a few days after... the lines were dark but not the same color or darker.

I have always had irregular periods throughout my life especially with my uterine fibroids and constant bacterial vaginitis! ( which I’ve currently had..I’m a mess haha)
Anyway... because I have no idea when my next period is due and no idea if I actually ovulated... is 19 days too soon to test??? I did take a test yesterday morning and today and they were both negative.
