Pregnancy test negative then positive

Hi there, took a pregnancy test two or three days ago (period was due yesterday) and was negative. Was just emptying the bathroom bin though and now looks like a feint positive. Took a First Response now though and says negative. Any ideas?

If this was read out of the timescale instructed, it may be an evap line x

Never trust a pregnancy test after the specified time. A faint line doesn't mean you're pregnant, especially if a FRER has only one line. Sorry to disappoint you but this one you fished out of the bin probably isn't accurate.

If your period hasn't shown up then you need to keep testing daily. FRERS say that they will yield a positive result 5 days before period is due but I don't get a positive with anything until I'm at least a day late.

Is that a Tesco one? In my experience they always go like that if you leave them!
