41 starting IVF

So, long story short, 3 years of NHS saying everything is fine, they’ve now said there is a problem and I need IVF, but they’ve left it so long I basically don’t qualify for treatment on the NHS. Even if they had come clean 6 months ago I’d have had a better chance.

Myself and DH are going to a private clinic for initial testing next week.
Everyone else I know seems to be able to get pregnant at the drop of a hat so feeling very isolated with no one to talk to that really understands.

Any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
